Safe introduction to manual laser welding

Laser welding is becoming increasingly popular. That makes it important for customers to not only discover this technology, but also experience it in a safe and professional way. Our long-standing partner KSR, a key distributor and service point in French-speaking Switzerland, recently installed a Unisonic manual laser welding demonstration cabin in their showroom. A great step towards presenting modern laser welding technology safely and convincingly.

WHY IT WORKS
The cabin is equipped with an interlock system, a clearly visible warning light and a closed safety circuit. This allows manual laser welding to be demonstrated in a controlled and safe environment.
The setup makes it possible to welcome customers, host workshops and provide live demonstrations in a safe showroom setting.
As a trusted partner in French-speaking Switzerland, KSR plays an important role in informing and supporting customers when it comes to safe laser welding solutions.
The situation

Laser welding is developing rapidly, and more companies are exploring what this technology can bring to their workshop. At the same time, manual laser welding requires a safe and well-controlled working environment. KSR wanted to give customers in French-speaking Switzerland the opportunity to see a Unisonic laser welding cabin in practice. Not only through information or product documentation, but by experiencing the solution directly in the showroom.

The solution

A Unisonic manual laser welding demonstration cabin was installed in the KSR showroom. The cabin was fully designed with safety and usability in mind. The door is equipped with an interlock system. When the door is opened, the laser welding machine switches off automatically. On the outside of the cabin, a clearly visible warning light indicates when the laser is active.

All components are connected through a control cabinet, which forms a closed and secured circuit together with the laser welding machine. This creates a safe demonstration environment for customers, visitors and employees. The cabin is used for customer visits, workshops, live demonstrations and safe testing of laser welding equipment.

A safe demonstration environment for modern laser technology

With this Unisonic demonstration cabin, KSR now has a modern and safe laser welding workplace in their showroom. Customers can view the cabin in practice, experience the safety features and discover the possibilities of manual laser welding. For Cepro, this is a strong example of how safety and innovation come together. Together with partners like KSR, we continue to create safer and smarter workplaces for modern welding applications.
