Bringing the complete welding workplace together in Italy
After many years of successful cooperation, Cepro and Weldone have taken the next step in their partnership. With Weldone’s move to a new headquarters near Milan, the opportunity arose to create a dedicated Cepro showroom. The new demonstration area allows end users, distributors and industry professionals to see how different Cepro solutions come together within a complete welding workplace, supported by local expertise and practical advice.
Cepro and Weldone have built a strong relationship over many years of working together in the Italian market. With Weldone's move to a new headquarters near Milan, there was an opportunity to make that cooperation even more visible and practical for customers.
Rather than creating a traditional product display, the aim was to show complete workplace solutions in realistic configurations. Customers, distributors and other industry professionals should be able to see how different forms of welding protection work, compare them side by side and better understand which solution fits a specific production environment.
This is particularly useful in workshops where different requirements come together. Depending on the application, a workplace may need sound insulation, flexible welding protection or an opening that can easily be moved aside for large workpieces or overhead crane systems.
Several demonstration setups were installed within Weldone's headquarters. These combine Cepro's Sonic sound-insulating wall system with different welding curtain and strip curtain systems, as well as swivel arms and cable retractors.
The configurations show different ways of creating and separating welding workplaces. Sonic panels can form part of a more enclosed setup, while curtains and strips offer more flexible forms of separation. Swivel arms make it possible to open larger sections when additional access is required.
By displaying these solutions alongside welding equipment, the showroom creates a much more realistic setting. Visitors can see not just an individual product, but how different components can work together as part of a complete workplace.
Strengthening knowledge as well as the showroom
The project was also an opportunity to invest in the knowledge behind the solutions. Cepro organised a refresher training programme for Weldone's sales representatives and other team members, providing them with the latest product information and practical guidance.
During the training, the team was also introduced to the new Cepro Tool. This online configurator helps users design welding workplaces and identify the components required for a specific setup. Combined with the physical showroom, it gives the Weldone team additional support when discussing customer requirements and possible configurations.
For many years, Roberto Dalpozzo has been the trusted point of contact for Cepro activities in Italy. Together with the wider Weldone team, he plays an important role in connecting Cepro's product knowledge with the needs of customers in the Italian market.
The new showroom is therefore more than a place to display products. It is the result of a long-standing partnership and a shared ambition to support customers with practical, well-considered welding workplace solutions.
We are proud to take this next step together with Weldone and look forward to helping many more customers across Italy in the years ahead.
