Welding sheet
Welding releases harmful rays that you do not always see, but that genuinely cause damage. Sparks, spatter and radiation pose a risk to everyone around the welder. A reliable welding sheet from Cepro shields against that risk: a flexible PVC strip 570 mm wide and 1 mm thick that you hang up between the welder and the rest of the workshop.
Who uses welding sheets and why?
The welder themselves wears a welding helmet and protective clothing. But colleagues on the work floor do not have that protection. They are at risk from harmful radiation, sparks and spatter, often without realising it. A welding sheet filters that radiation so that bystanders can safely carry on with their own tasks.
Construction companies, metalworking workshops, maintenance firms and training institutes use them every day. Any environment where welding takes place and where other people work in the same space calls for shielding. That is the basic rule.
Why a certified welding sheet makes a real difference
Not every welding sheet you come across online is tested. Suppliers selling PVC strips without a test report are unfortunately no exception. You think you are protected, but you cannot be sure.
Our welding sheets are always approved to EN ISO 25980. That certification guarantees that the material filters out enough harmful radiation. Our products are periodically resubmitted for testing, so that the certificate stays current. The PVC material is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing.
Sizes and colours
Cepro welding sheets are 570 mm wide and 1 mm thick. You can order them as a full roll of 50 linear metres or as individual sheets in a box of four. The individual sheets are available in heights of 1600, 1800, 2000 and 2200 mm. Each sheet has four hanging eyelets along the top, including metal hanging rings.
Four colours are available. The three transparent versions (Orange, Bronze and Green) let through sufficient visibility while filtering radiation. Do you work with two welders side by side? Then the Dark Green non-transparent version is the better choice. It blocks the light completely, so that welders are not hindered by each other's work.
From a single sheet to a complete workshop set-up
Hanging up a welding sheet is sometimes enough. But in many situations the need is greater. How do you set up a complete workshop safely? Which combination of shielding suits your situation?
Cepro is happy to think along with you. During an on-site consultation, we look at the workshop, discuss the work process and advise on the best configuration. Welding sheets can be part of a larger complete solution, together with welding booths, welding strips or welding curtains. When we supply a complete solution, we also take care of the on-site installation with our own team.
Would you like to order just a roll or a box? Then, with every order, you are guaranteed a certified product that we supply from our stock in Rijen.

A welding sheet is 570 mm wide and 1 mm thick. A welding strip is 300 mm wide and 2 or 3 mm thick. Strips are more often used where traffic needs to move through, owing to their greater thickness and mechanical resistance.
